| Jr Surveyor (Trainee) | S1 Grade | Candidates should have diploma degree in Mining Engineering/ Mining/ Mine surveying/ Civil Engineering or national trade certificate in surveying from a central government recognized institute. Candidates have valid surveyor certificate of competency as per CMR 2017. |
| Sirdar (Selection grade I) | SG1 Grade | Candidates should have degree or diploma degree in any discipline other than Mining Engineering. Candidates have valid mining sirdar certificate of competency approved by DGMS. candidates have valid first aid certificate.
